Role OverviewThe occupational therapist will work with exceptional student education and 504 Plan students, providing services such as occupational therapy assessment, evaluations, and individualized programming. The therapist will also develop and implement occupational therapy services, collaborate with other disciplines, and review outcomes to modify intervention programs. The role requires a commitment to a core set of beliefs about learning, treatment, and ongoing professional development.
What You Will Do
The occupational therapist will provide occupational therapy assessment or evaluations for students suspected of a disability, develop individual goals and objectives, and implement appropriate occupational therapy services. The therapist will also provide trainings and professional development for instructional and classified staff on the use of adaptive equipment for students.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (grandfathered in 2007), Master's or Doctorate from an accredited institution Level Program
- Licensed by the Florida Department of Health in occupational therapy
- One year of experience in a pediatric setting is preferred
