Job Summary:
The OEM Sales Manager is responsible for developing new business and managing existing customer relationships within an assigned territory for Carlisle Tire Fill Systems. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through OEMs, dealers, and end users by identifying opportunities, maintaining strong customer partnerships, and aligning sales activities with divisional objectives. The OEM Sales Manager serves as a key commercial liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication, accurate forecasting, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new business opportunities and manage an existing customer base to achieve assigned sales goals
Maintain regular contact with all assigned Tire Fill customers, with a minimum monthly outreach cadence
Build and manage relationships with OEMs, dealers, end users, and prospective customers within the assigned region
Identify opportunities for increased revenue within existing accounts and through new customer development
Prepare and present sales proposals, pricing quotes, promotional offers, and sales support materials
Review current Tire Fill inventory levels and recommend appropriate products to customers
Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, equipment, parts, and technical support needs
Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement teams at targeted OEMs to support technical and commercial discussions
Investigate and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
Provide sales support to other members of the Commercial team as directed
Contact and engage competitive OEM accounts to present Carlisle Tire Fill solutions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, activities, and opportunities in the CRM system
Develop and execute an annual Territory Development Plan to support regional growth objectives
Provide product samples, literature, and supporting documentation as requested by customers
Participate in trade shows, customer events, and relevant industry associations
Travel frequently, including international travel, as required to support business needs
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong customer relationship management and consultative sales skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented sales environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Working knowledge of CRM systems
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% within the assigned region, including overnight travel
Education and Experience:
Required:
5+ years of related sales experience and/or training
Preferred:
Experience in tire industry sales or OEM construction equipment sales
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
