Role Overview

The Office and Events Coordinator will provide event planning and office support for the Comparative Literature department. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and tasks. The position will work a flexible schedule during peak periods of activity, sometimes requiring evening hours.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of the Office and Events Coordinator include event management, communications, office administration, and facilities management. The coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for all department events, oversee event logistics, and liaise with University Services units to reserve and deliver event-related items. The coordinator will also work with faculty and students to develop program schedules and budget proposals for events.
