Job Description
The City of Jackson is seeking a Full-Time Office Assistant II for the Treasurer Office. The job requires accounting and data entry skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines. The successful candidate will perform various duties including cash handling, data entry, and customer service.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent with two years of office and accounting experience or equivalent combination of job-related education and experience
One year college coursework preferred
Valid Michigan driver's license and good driving record
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to get along with other employees and members of the public
