Role OverviewThe Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the cemeteries' financial operations, including budgeting, banking relationships, stewardship, insurance and risk management, as well as human resources functions. This full-time, in-office position reports to the General Manager and requires an undergraduate degree in business or accounting, with a minimum of three years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and office administration.
What You Will Do
Maintain bookkeeping records, prepare and administer budget process, direct cash management, maintain sound banking relationships, coordinate liability and property insurance, perform core HR administrative functions, process at-need and Pre-need documents, oversee day-to-day procedures and burials, and manage office staff.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, exercise planning and organizational skills, and adapt to change. A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church is highly preferred, but a person of the Christian faith who supports the mission and ministry of Catholic Cemeteries is required.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business or accounting
- Minimum three years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and office administration or closely related field
- Intermediate skills in QuickBooks, Word, and Excel
- A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church is highly preferred
