Role OverviewTarget is seeking an Offsite Warehouse Driver to support the General Merchandise and Food Sales team. This role involves transporting product to and from offsite locations, ensuring inventory accuracy and a consistent guest experience. The position is based at a Target store in College Point, NY.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, preparation, loading, and unloading of product to and from offsite locations. Duties include completing required paperwork like Bills of Lading, maintaining the vehicle, pulling and organizing reserve product, and operating powered equipment if certified. You will also support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick up, and Drive up.

Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must possess Class 4 Driver's License (Hawaii only)
- Must possess a medical examiner's certificate
- Must pass required road test (if applicable for your state) conducted by the store
- Understand and follow all traffic signs, directions, and signals
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Work both independently and with a team
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
- Complete all required training, certifications, and documentation provided by Target to ensure internal and federally mandated requirements are met
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
