Role OverviewThe OHLEG Quality Assurance Supervisor oversees and manages the work of OHLEG Quality Assurance (QA) Specialists, leading the statewide audit and compliance program for the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway and associated criminal justice databases. This position will report daily to any of the following BCI locations: London, Bowling Green, or Richfield. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation, known as BCI, is the state’s official crime lab serving the criminal justice community and protecting Ohio families.
What You Will Do
Primary responsibilities include supervising QA Specialists in conducting OHLEG compliance audits, preparing audit reports, issuing findings, and ensuring all reviews are completed accurately and consistently. The supervisor will also oversee QA Specialists’ activities related to detecting, documenting, and escalating potential misuse of OHLEG systems.

Requirements
- Completion of undergraduate core program in business, public administration, criminal justice, or related field; valid driver’s license
- Four years of experience as an OHLEG Quality Assurance Specialist
- Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment
