Role Overview

The Oil Recovery Pumper is responsible for maintenance, monitoring, reporting, and working with skim oil collected at NGL water facilities. This position is diverse, and specific job duties may vary on a daily basis. The employee must constantly position, transport, and/or move up to 50 or more pounds. The work environment is usually moderate, with occasional exposure to high, precarious places, and regular exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.

What You Will Do

Perform accurate timekeeping, install and repair plumbing and piping, perform general cleanup of sites, adhere to NGL's safety policies and procedures, attend all safety meetings and trainings, perform routine scheduled tasks, gauge tanks, create and submit daily reports, move, transfer, or skim oil, maintain tools needed for work, clean, service, and maintain work truck, drive to locations to perform daily duties, identify equipment problems requiring immediate repair, report problems to the facility supervisor, and process oil to ready for sale.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • 2 years of oil field construction experience
  • High school diploma / GED
