Job Description
The Resident Coordinator monitors the activities of residents in the shelter, maintains security and safety, and provides para-professional counseling services to assist in transitioning from homelessness to independent living.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Two years of experience working with homeless populations
  • Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and household cleaners
  • Ability to operate general office equipment including computers
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality requirements in the workplace
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work harmoniously with clients and staff
  • Current CPR and first aid certification
  • Acceptable criminal history records
