On-Call Security/Front Desk Floater

As an On-Call Security/Front Desk Floater, you will provide routine patrol and safety checks, gate house security, mobile patrol, fire watch, and control room monitoring for residential and commercial properties.

What You Will Do

Your primary responsibilities will include routine security and safety patrol, verifying access credentials, monitoring surveillance cameras, responding to notifications and alarms, and providing security-related assistance to residents and guests.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires excellent surveillance and observation skills, experience with CCTV surveillance systems, and strong report writing and verbal communication skills. You will also need to be able to work a flexible schedule, including one weekend day, and have a valid New Jersey SORA license.

Requirements

• New Jersey Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) license
• Clean/Valid Driver’s License
• 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer or Guard
• Knowledge of local, regional, and state legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Experience with Closed Circuit (CCTV) surveillance systems
• Training in First Aid, Basis Life Saving (BLS) and self-defense
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills
• A High School diploma is required
