Job Description
The Services Coordinator acts as a resource, ally, and advisor to shelter participants, supporting the routine operation by administering resident intake and monitoring of the floors for safety and order.
Requirements
High School Diploma or a GED
Experience working with adults who are unhoused, have challenges with mental health, substance abuse or disabilities
Strong communication skills
Comprehension of ethics in social services
Good general counseling, active listening skills
Proven problem-solving and crisis resolution skills
Intermediate computer skills including MS Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to secure fingerprint image screening and annual TB screening
Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 30 lbs
