Job Description
The Services Coordinator acts as a resource, ally, and advisor to shelter participants, supporting the routine operation by administering resident intake and monitoring of the floors for safety and order.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or a GED
  • Experience working with adults who are unhoused, have challenges with mental health, substance abuse or disabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comprehension of ethics in social services
  • Good general counseling, active listening skills
  • Proven problem-solving and crisis resolution skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to secure fingerprint image screening and annual TB screening
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 30 lbs
