Job Description
The Onboarding Specialist supports Human Resources and Production by delivering a high-quality onboarding and training experience for all new hires. This role spends approximately 90% of the time on the production floor, providing hands-on guidance, machine-operation support, and acclimation assistance during the first 60 days of employment.

Requirements

  • Administer, track, and evaluate all new-hire onboarding and training activities in alignment with the People Pillar and MTP Complex Onboarding Program.
  • Supervise new hires during their training period and provide recommendations to HR and management regarding training needs, performance concerns, and continued employment.
  • Meet regularly with trainers, supervisors, HR, and Benefits to review training materials, processes, and progress.
  • Organize and maintain training spaces, equipment, and materials.
  • Assist HR with annual training requirements for all employees.
  • Learn and support machine-operation processes to effectively guide new hires.
