Job Description
The Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator will provide clinical expertise to healthcare professionals and staff, educating them on patient outcomes and product safety and efficacy. The role requires educating oncologists' support teams, delivering on-label education, and partnering with cross-functional teams to execute speaker program activities. The OCNE will keep accurate records of accounts visited and items discussed, develop and execute geographical based strategic and tactical plans, and partner compliantly with key commercial and medical personnel.

Requirements

  • Minimum B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent
  • Registered Nurse license
  • Active health care license in at least one state in the territory covered
  • 3+ year of clinical experience in oncology, OCN Required, GI oncology experience a plus
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the oncology market
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving/exceeding responsibilities, goals, & objectives
  • Demonstrated track record of educating, relationship building, & presentation skills
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Up to 50% of travel (depending on area)
