Job Description

Provides status report to pharmacy management effectively communicating issues, concerns, and suggestions as appropriate.

Requirements

  • PGY1 and PGY2 from an ASHP-accredited residency program
  • 5 years progressive clinical practice experience within specialty with PGY1 from an ASHP-accredited residency program or 8 years progressive clinical practice experience within specialty
  • Bachelor's Degree of Science degree or PharmD from ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
  • Texas license with TSBP within 30 Days
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Upon Hire
  • (ACLS) ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heat Association (AHA), or American Red Cross (ARC) required for only inpatient positions prior to or within 6 months of employment
  • Computer skills, data entry experience
  • English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Good general health and stress coping ability
  • Moderate physical effort: prolonged standing/walking, occasional lifting/carrying (up to 25 lbs.), reaching, bending, crouching, etc.
