Role OverviewThe Pharmacy Technician 3 is a proficient technician that is accountable for assisting pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, preparation, and distribution of medications for patient administration.
What You Will Do
Accurately prepares non-hazardous compounded sterile products, performs hazardous drug compounding, and assists in troubleshooting and resolving routine hardware and software issues for Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs).
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Pharmacy Technician 3 is responsible for performing all the functions of the Technician 1 or 2 when assigned, and contributes to team problem-solving regarding immediate operational bottlenecks or distribution delays.
Requirements
- High School Equivalent / GED
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program
- At least Two (2) years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) State of Ohio CPhT license
