Job Description
Under supervision of the Director of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Therapy Program, the ONC Transplant Coordinator coordinates evaluation and preparation of patients for Hematopoietic Stem Cell (HSC) transplantation, cellular therapies and long-term management of patients post-treatment.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse – Issued by Florida or Compact State
Certified Hematopoietic Transplant Coordinator (CHTC) by American Board for Transplant Certification (ABTC)
Blood and Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN) by Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC)
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as an RN caring for acute and chronically-ill adults and/or children
Two (2) years of experience in Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant or Hematology
Two (2) years of experience with clinical research and insurance prior authorization, or transplant contracting
