Role OverviewProvides assistance and support to Teacher in planning and implementing classroom instruction to meet the educational needs of the assigned student. Encourages and supports the student to contribute to the best possible educational experience.
What You Will Do
Assist Teacher in planning curriculum, assessing student abilities, developing and implementing lesson plans, maintaining a classroom environment, and tracking student behavior.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of Three (3) years of direct support experience
