Role OverviewJoin our collaborative, diverse, and dynamic mining company as an Open Pit Geotechnical Engineer. Assist in developing and guiding projects to support short and long term mine plans. Work in a team environment with a strong understanding of open pit blasting techniques and controls.
What You Will Do
Collect and assess rock mass and rock defect strength properties, design slopes, and work with 3-D geologic model inputs. Develop and sustain short term and long term projects, and work with various personnel levels.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years hands-on geotechnical experience at an active open pit mine site
- Demonstrated ability for developing and sustaining short term and long term projects
- Supervisory experience of engineers and technicians
