Open Rank Tenured/Tenure-track Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering - Space

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Vanderbilt University invites applications for an open-rank, tenured/tenure-track faculty position to begin in Fall 2027. We are seeking outstanding candidates in mechanical engineering systems for space applications.

What You Will Do

Develop a strong, externally funded research program, pursue excellence in both scholarship and teaching, and teach one or more core mechanical engineering courses.
