Role OverviewJoin the Hardware team to provide engineering support for installing, configuring, and maintaining RedHat OpenShift clusters and core DevOps components. The chosen candidate will work on the Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS) team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
What You Will Do
Provide 2nd Level Engineering support for RMLS, including platform management, operations & troubleshooting, security & compliance, automation, application support, problem-solving, collaboration, and proactivity.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Mathematics, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science
- Six (6) to Nine (9) years of related work experience in Enterprise Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and OpenShift administration
- Proficient/experience in OpenShift (version 4.x), Linux administration, Kubernetes management, Docker, Kubernetes for container orchestration, Ansible, GitOps, CI/CD tools, Prometheus/Grafana, and networking basics
- High experience with monitoring system health, performance, and capacity, troubleshooting issues with applications and node components
- Understanding of infrastructure and cloud security best practices; DevSecOps, Identify and Access Management, encryption, and compliance standards
- Experience with supporting the implementation of infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning and management
