Job Description
Responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all Detroit Service Center equipment and systems. Operate and maintain HVAC systems, high-pressure steam and components, emergency and standby power generation systems. Provide emergency service response to site emergencies and maintenance of assigned spaces and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • BCBSM Service Center Systems and Jefferson Facility Systems Qualification Guidelines completion within specified time frames
  • 1 year DDC/BAS operation and maintenance experience
  • 2 years operational experience in a comparable facility
  • City of Detroit First Class Refrigeration Operators License
  • EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certificate
  • Valid Michigan Driver's License
  • Ability to work any shift, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
