Role OverviewSupports and assists operative teams with the daily flow of activities of the operating room (OR) and patient care by cleaning/disinfecting the operating room suites and related areas, transporting patients and equipment, stocking supplies, and performing other duties as assigned.
What You Will Do
Facilitate the efficient turnover of operating rooms between cases and preparation for the following case, transport patients, trays, blood gases, specimens and equipment, support operative team with various requests while cases are in progress, communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to enhance patient care and facilitate daily operations.

Must be able to lift and push heavy objects such as patients, supply and patient carts, beds, and equipment, must have knowledge of safe and proper handling of hazardous waste and other substances, must have CPR skills, and must have knowledge regarding various positioning equipment.
Requirements
- High School Equivalent / GED
- OR cleaning/disinfecting experience (Preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Training provided on the job
- Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician Certification (Association for Healthcare Environment) (Preferred)
