Role OverviewThe Operational Buyer will be responsible for ensuring maximum procurement leverage using the appropriate amount of consolidation of an entity and region, demand. This position will assume a leadership role in the development of site category strategies that align with the Company and Business Unit's overall procurement strategy.
What You Will Do
Analyze requirement requests, identify new potential suppliers, oversee quotation process, negotiate prices, manage ordering process, and resolve issues on assigned contracts and purchase orders.

Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Business or technical-related discipline
- 1-3 years of professional experience in procurement, indirect materials, supplier relations, manufacturing environments, stakeholder engagement, and/or use of E-Catalogs
- Knowledge of the products procured and the supplier base, as well as the processes
- Procurement tracking and negotiations require advocacy with other divisions and suppliers for varying objects
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, SAP, and related systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written throughout the organization and suppliers
- Excellent organizational skills
