Role OverviewUnder the direct supervision of the Manager I within the Firearm Purchase Program (FPP), this position is responsible for the review and analysis of criminal history records to determine eligibility for the purchase and possession of firearms as authorized by Florida Statute.
What You Will Do
Reviewing, evaluating, and processing requests by phone and in the Firearm Eligibility System (FES) queue from licensed firearm dealers to screen potential buyer’s eligibility to purchase a firearm.

Requirements
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to read and interpret law enforcement data, Florida Statutes, Commission Rules, and Divisional Policy and Procedures
