Operations Coordinator - WRMC

The Operations Coordinator will supervise, plan, and coordinate the operations of a specific shift at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, including event setup and teardown, housekeeping, and other assigned projects. This position will be 100% on-site and responsible for ensuring proper routine cleanliness for all front of house and back-of-house spaces.

What You Will Do

The Operations Coordinator will supervise operations staff, plan and assign work, and direct event set-ups and teardowns. They will also investigate and resolve operational problems and complaints, and act as a liaison with tenants, contractors, and facility users.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a management and/or supervisory position of public assembly facilities, and a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college in Hospitality, Management, or Maintenance Engineering. Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college in Hospitality, Management, or Maintenance Engineering and/or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in a management and/or supervisory position of public assembly facilities
• State of Texas motor vehicle license
• Keyboarding skills and computer proficiency with software knowledge including MS Office
• Experience implementing and operating a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) a plus
• Experience in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) programs a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong client relations and staff management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Superior customer service experience
• Ability to operate equipment such as light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, boom lifts, or other light power drive equipment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
