Role Overview

The Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in the logistics team, supporting major events in sports, music, automotive, fine art, and film. The role involves coordinating all aspects of domestic and international fine art shipments and related projects for the Los Angeles Museums & Exhibitions team.

What You Will Do

Coordinate logistics with clients, vendors, carriers, agents, and internal teams to manage schedules, budgets, documentation, and project requirements. Prepare project estimates, budgets, and transportation plans, including routing recommendations and scheduling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Interest in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, freight forwarding, fine art handling, or international trade
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, carriers, and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prepare, review, and maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Ability to learn transportation regulations, import/export procedures, TSA requirements, and other industry compliance standards
