Job Description
We’re looking for an Operating Engineer to lead building maintenance and operations across our brand new seven-floor headquarters in NYC. You'll be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems for the property.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of operating engineering experience in a commercial office or Class A building environment
  • Deep understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes and regulations
  • Building automation system (BAS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) experience
  • S-12 (Sprinkler), S-13 (Standpipe), S-95 or F-89 and ​​Q-01/Q-99 Refrigeration Machine Operator license preferred
  • Physical ability to move and lift heavy objects of 50+ lbs
  • Flexibility to work weekends, extended hours, and respond to emergencies as needed
