Job Description
CITY Furniture continues to be recognized as a top furniture company in South Florida and nationwide. As an Operations Manager in Training, the primary function of this position is to learn all aspects of the business and develop a deep understanding of the CITY Operations Department with the goal of preparing associates for future leadership positions.
Requirements
Participate in training plan to learn and apply company standard operations procedures and policies within the Distribution Center.
Obtains certifications and training related to job performance and department policies within specified period of time.
Manages physical resources to ensure associates have the right resources at the right time to successfully perform their roles.
Performs the responsibilities necessary to start and end a shift in the department, including auditing and correcting Associate timecards and maintaining a clean and organized department.
Cooperate with all Associates to ensure the success of the assigned department.
Gain exposure to safety policies and procedures and ensuring that Associates utilize the proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages and reduce injuries.
