Job Description
Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking an Operations Manager for its customer site in Arab, AL. The Operations Manager will support procurement and inventory management of spare parts materials, work closely with various departments and partners, and drive cost savings and implement efficiencies for plant functions.
Requirements
Background in purchasing/procurement
Experience working with or purchasing cutting tools and abrasives
General knowledge of MRO products
Purchasing/Supply Chain Management certification preferred
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to effectively communicate in writing & verbally
Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
A willingness to learn how to manage a business
