Role Overview

The Operations Manager leads all manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse operations for the Livermore facility. The role is accountable for delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while achieving customer, quality, productivity, and financial objectives.

The incumbent drives continuous improvement, workforce development, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Success is measured through strong performance in safety, service, productivity, cost management, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years’ manufacturing operations experience.
  • 3+ years leading supervisors or equivalent operational leaders.
  • Experience with quality management systems.
  • Experience with the development of new products.
  • Demonstrated experience and results in leading organizations through change.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, develop, and hold teams accountable for achieving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies such as RCFA and 5-Why.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, labor costs, productivity metrics, and operational performance measures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a focus on results.
