Role OverviewAs an Operations Mentor - Mine Maintenance at Climax Molybdenum, you'll train crew members in various areas, support department development, and act as a liaison between groups to facilitate understanding and response to shortcomings and opportunities. You'll assess task/skill competency of individual crew members and assist in updating training-related documentation. This role is located in Leadville, Colorado, and you'll enjoy the abundant outdoor recreation and numerous schools and amenities in the area.

Requirements
- 7 years of industrial work experience (e.g., construction, material handling, conveying, fixed or mobile equipment maintenance, mobile equipment operation, underground mining)
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of industrial work experience (e.g., construction, material handling, conveying, fixed or mobile equipment maintenance, mobile equipment operation, underground mining)
- Direct experience in processes, equipment, and maintenance akin to operating areas where mentoring activity will occur (e.g., mine operations, fixed plant operations, fixed plant maintenance, mobile equipment operations, mobile equipment maintenance)
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms (in-person, paper, digital)
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
