Job Description
Total Safety is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join their safety conscious team. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of employees within the division and/or service line of the business.

Requirements

  • Supervising day-to-day activities of employees
  • Ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company programs, policies, and procedures
  • Managing labor reports and production, quality, and safety goals
  • Providing leadership in achieving health and safety goals
  • Identifying safety and environmental issues and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, Company, and client standards
  • Maintaining adequate and accurate inventory and daily status report
  • Assisting with conducting periodic repair parts, rental, and equipment inventories
  • Submitting purchase requests for equipment and supplies
  • Coaching and counseling team members and documenting employee relations issues
  • Ensuring all personnel receive safety and procedure training
  • Developing procedures for assigned operation
  • Assisting with establishing work standards for assigned area
  • Overseeing contractors as required
  • Performing other duties as assigned
