Role OverviewAs a Service Center Operations Supervisor at Ryerson, you will be responsible for directing the efficient function of plant operations, including production equipment, shipping, receiving, and inventory. You will provide leadership to direct reports, coach and counsel employees, and participate in Performance Management Process (PMP).
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include understanding production goals, implementing actions to meet objectives, reviewing plant supply inventory, advising purchasing, and ensuring training is effectively carried out. You will also communicate with other departments, understand customer requirements, and provide direction and coaching in safe work practices.

Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED is required; College Education preferred
- A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
