Role OverviewThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the Distribution Center by providing day-to-day direct supervision and coaching of associates to ensure production, quality, safety, and store service goals are achieved.
What You Will Do
Major responsibilities include planning and coordinating workflow, training and motivating team members, monitoring productivity and accuracy standards, issuing instructions, developing team leaders, examining and standardizing procedures, and maintaining an appropriate staffing level.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have previous distribution center/warehouse experience, supervisory or leadership experience, and a working knowledge of DAX Warehouse Management System. They must be able to work effectively, communicate well, and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous distribution center/warehouse experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a distribution or production setting
- Working knowledge of DAX Warehouse Management System
- Certification to run all powered equipment
- Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
