Role OverviewThe Operations Supervisor oversees the daily operational, financial, clerical, and patient services necessary to maintain efficient flow of assigned service areas. They are responsible for staffing, planning, and managing the department, as well as contributing to staff management and development. The Operations Supervisor performs duties independently and demonstrates sound judgment and initiative in handling a variety of management issues.
What You Will Do
The Operations Supervisor will contribute to staff management and development, including hiring decisions, employee counseling, and performance evaluations. They will prioritize departmental work, access staff to work ratios, and identify and correct any deficiencies with processes to promote synergy. The Operations Supervisor will also participate in leadership meetings and projects to advocate for patients, help the department, and do what is in the best interest of the hospital.

Requirements
- Accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; OR two (2) years of experience in registration operations and High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification in Healthcare Business Insights within 60 days of hire
- Possesses or completes HBI certification as a Patient Access Specialist within the probationary period
