Role OverviewThe Operations Support Ambassador provides customer service to patients, guests, and staff, supporting operational needs of the department. This includes distributing visitor passes, lab specimen pick-up/drop-off, ED transport assistance, Patient Experience rounds, and Meds to Beds courier.
What You Will Do
Meet and greet visitors, patients, and staff; distribute visitor passes; perform Patient Experience rounds; transport patients; deliver specimens; and assist with Meds to Beds delivery.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of basic patient care and/or customer service experience, with a high school equivalent/GED required. The role requires standing occasionally, walking occasionally, and sitting constantly, with occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
