Job Description
ArcelorMittal Calvert is seeking an Operator - Ladle Wall Helper to assist in the turnaround and maintenance of steel ladles, monitor ladle position and condition, and collaborate with Furnace operator and shift personnel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a heavy industrial setting
  • Advanced knowledge of tools and equipment used for industrial purposes
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and ability to trouble shoot problems
