Role OverviewThe Operator, Extruder II is a high skill role that will set up and operate extrusion lines and related equipment, including nylon extruders, coilers, pay-offs and take-ups (manual or automatic). This job requires high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and the ability to read and comprehend production orders and instrumentation on complex equipment.
What You Will Do
Primary job tasks include working under supervision, maintaining ongoing communication with the supervisor and peers, lifting up to 45 lbs, putting scrap into designated bins, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must read, write, and speak English; Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Must be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods of time
- Must be able to read and comprehend production orders and the instrumentation on complex equipment
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, etc..)
- Must be able to work under supervision and maintain ongoing communication with the supervisor and peers through verbal instruction and reports
