Job Description
The Operator I - Wastewater Treatment position is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a wastewater facility. The operator must monitor effluent, inbound waste loads, and equipment malfunctions, and report to the supervisor. The operator must also maintain records, perform indoor and outdoor maintenance, and collect and process storm water samples.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid Texas Drivers License
  • Class “D” Wastewater Operator Certification
  • Ability to read and log analog and digital information
  • Ability to properly utilize personal protection equipment
  • Ability to operate powered hand tools
