Role OverviewThe Operator II - Wastewater Distribution is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the Western Canyon Division's water and wastewater facilities, including distribution and collection systems, pump stations, and storage facilities.
What You Will Do
Meet permit requirements, operate pump stations, collect samples, perform routine process control tests, read and install water meters, repair leaks, and perform maintenance and general repair work.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, Class D water operator license, Class D wastewater operator license, and be able to respond to emergencies during off-duty hours.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Class D water operator license
- Class D wastewater operator license
- Ability to remain insurable under GBRA’s vehicle liability policy
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and understand highly technical information in small print
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
