Job Description
Operate equipment to perform food preparation functions, including setting up, programming, and monitoring machines. Requirements include sorting, grading, weighing, and inspecting products, as well as starting and adjusting machines. May require extended hours, including weekends.

Requirements

  • Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure quality
  • Start machine by engaging controls.
  • Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.
  • Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
