Role OverviewPauley Construction is seeking an Operator Telecom Construction Equipment to join their team and help connect America. The Operator will operate a variety of equipment, used in installation/repair/maintenance activities associated with underground construction or utilities, in a safe and effective manner.
What You Will Do
The Operator will safely operate drill equipment on jobsites, restore and/or landscape disturbed areas, develop and maintain a bore schedule, and be responsible for site set-up and clean-up.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience running heavy equipment, experience with drill set up and design processes, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- at least 18 years old
- authorized to work in the United States
- valid standard Driver's License or a Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
- MVR record deemed acceptable by the company
- able to maintain a safe work environment
- able to work in all weather conditions
- able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
- able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call
- experienced with drilling equipment and understanding their capabilities and limitations
- able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities
- able to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructions
- able to climb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objects
- previous construction or utility construction experience
