Role OverviewUnder general direction, the Ophthalmic Photographer provides specialized ophthalmic and medical photography services to support patient care, diagnosis, education, and clinical documentation at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, part of Mass General Brigham. This role works closely with physicians and other members of the care team to obtain high-quality photographic and video images using a variety of imaging techniques and equipment.
What You Will Do
Perform a variety of ophthalmic photography studies including fundus, full-face, wide-angle, and anterior segment imaging. Review physician orders in EPIC, capture high-quality color photographs, operate still cameras and specialized imaging equipment, explain procedures to patients, support patient safety, document procedures in EPIC, and provide guidance to other photographers.
