Role OverviewAn Ophthalmic Technician assists in providing excellent patient care to patients during their visit, handling a wide range of duties and using equipment to perform initial testing needed to prepare a patient for an exam with an Ophthalmologist.
What You Will Do
Provide exceptional customer service, anticipate Physician needs, practice urgency, verify patient information, record patient data, check patient's eyes, perform diagnostic tests, and accurately document medical visits and procedures.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification is preferred, but not required
