Role OverviewThe Ophthalmic Tech will perform routine tests, document patient medical histories, and assist the provider in minor surgical procedures. They will also provide customer service and exhibit the F.I.R.S.T. values.
What You Will Do
Coordinate scheduling, interview patients, perform routine tests, assist with minor surgical procedures, and administer medications.

Requirements
- 1 year of experience in an ophthalmology setting
- Knowledge of ocular diseases and systemic disease affecting the eye
- Knowledge of ultrasound and visual field machines
- Knowledge of basic eye care and hygienic methods and practices
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 coding procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology
