Role OverviewAssist ophthalmologists during eye surgery, set up and maintain equipment, and perform diagnostic testing. Work with patients to prepare them for physician visits and maintain patient records.

Meet with patients, perform visual testing, diagnostic tests, and measurements, review patient records, and maintain supplies and equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires high school diploma, JCAHPO certification, and 1 year of experience as an Ophthalmic Tech. Must be able to maintain patient safety and experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- 1 year experience as an Ophthalmic Tech
