Job Description
The Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for the work up, education and follow up of current and potential patients.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or its equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience as Ophthalmology Technician
  • Ability to type 45 wpm
  • Advanced understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations
  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)/Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred
  • Experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred
  • Experience in Medical scribing preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
