Job Description
Join SightMD as an Ophthalmic Technician and play a vital role as an assistant to our physicians. Perform a range of administrative and clinical duties, including preparing patients, performing vision screenings, administering eye medications, and assisting with minor surgical procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician
  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification required or enrolled within one year and completion within two years of hire
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Skilled in problem-solving with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
