Job Description
We are seeking an Ophthalmology Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Syneos Health. The ideal candidate will be a science-driven and social individual with advanced training in life sciences and experience in medical science liaison roles, particularly in ophthalmology. They will be responsible for building relationships with KOLs, communicating clinical and scientific data, and driving innovative Medical Affairs strategies.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree required (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, OD or equivalent in life sciences)
  • 3+ years of prior Medical Science Liaison experience (in eye care highly preferred)
  • Deep scientific knowledge and genuine passion for ophthalmology
  • Prior experience with payer presentations is a plus
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical and scientific data
  • Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 60–80% within assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by car and air
