Job Description
The Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Ophthalmology Research Faculty member with a track record of sustained NEI/NIH funding, to collaborate with faculty members on various research topics, with the possibility of a joint appointment in a basic science department.

Requirements

  • Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent
  • Established track record of sustained NEI/NIH funding as a PI on one or more R01 research grants
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate with other faculty members
  • Maintenance of extramural funding
  • Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule
